Why the straight shot doesn't work
The portal sits high above a narrow, walled-in well, and the only way into that well is a slot guarded by a lip hanging down from the ceiling. Aim straight at the anchor waiting at the bottom and the lip blocks you — there's no clean lob that clears it. That's the whole trap: the level looks like every other one-anchor level in World 1, but the direct shot that worked on First Flight, Bank Shot and Ouch doesn't work here.
Aim up and let the blob hit the ceiling on purpose. The bounce sends it down through the gap and into the well, right onto the anchor. Once you're in, the second shot is a clean, direct line up to the portal — no bounce needed.
Step by step
- Pull back and aim high — steep enough that your shot is heading for the ceiling, not the anchor directly.
- Release. Watch the blob hit the ceiling and ricochet down through the gap next to the hanging lip.
- Let it settle onto the anchor at the bottom of the well. From here, the exit is easy.
- Pull again and aim straight at the portal near the top — this one's a direct shot, no bounce required.
Getting all three stars
Look Up has three coins: one on the way up to your first bounce, one tucked beside the well, and one near the ceiling not far from the portal. The third star needs every coin plus a clean run — so line up the coin on your ceiling arc before you commit to the bounce, and grab the one by the well on your way to the anchor.
Still stuck?
Every level in Gluxolot was checked with a solver, so there is always a route through. If you keep missing the bounce, watch the dotted trajectory preview closely — it shows exactly where the shot is heading before you release. And if you die enough times on a level, a stuck-helper prompt will offer to skip it. Cleared Look Up already? Cave (Level 12), five levels on, is the harder one. More questions? Our support page and FAQ cover the rest, and the dev blog has more on how Gluxolot was built.
