1. Watch the dotted line, then trust it
While you pull the blob back, a dotted preview shows the first part of its flight. It already includes gravity, so aim for the dots, not for the target. The more it bounces, the less the preview can show, so use it for the first leg and think about the rest.
2. Full power is not always best
Pull back until you feel a tick for each power step; at full power you hear a higher note. Short, soft shots are easier to repeat. Save full power for long crossings and for bank shots that need speed.
3. Walls are your friends
The blob keeps most of its speed when it bounces. If the target hides behind a block, look for a wall or ceiling that lets you come at it from the side. A bank shot also counts for style: chain two or three and the game counts them with an x2 and x3.
4. Coins first, target last
Sticking to a target ends the flight, so plan the route so the blob passes every coin before it lands. The coin sounds climb a musical scale during one flight, which is a good way to hear whether you are collecting in a smooth line.
5. Read what the third star needs
The result card tells you exactly what is missing for the third star: coins, fewer shots, or a clean run. Use it. Do not guess what to improve.
6. Near misses are information
When the blob grazes a hazard you see CLOSE! and its face shows shock. That is the game telling you the angle is nearly right. Change it by a hair, not by a lot.
7. A level feels impossible? Take a breath
After a few splats on the same level the aim preview quietly grows, and a retry restarts faster the more you die. Tap right after the pop to restart at once. If it still fights back, play another level and come back; every level can be solved.
8. Zoom out on big levels
Some levels are larger than the screen. Use the zoom buttons to see the whole map before you shoot, then zoom back in to aim precisely.
9. Play the Daily Flight
Every day one level is featured with a flame on the level map. Clear it without a splat to keep your streak going and unlock new blob colours, such as the comet after five Daily Flights.
10. Make it comfortable
Screen shake and vibration can be switched off in the settings. Sound and music have their own switches, and there is a volume step. The game works offline, so a short level is a good way to fill a wait.
